First Christmas Home in 8 years.

This will be my first Christmas-Winter Solstice home in 8 years. Last year I was in the United States over in Oakland. For my buddy Jeus's birthday, I got the present of hanging out with my cell mate, a bank robber named David Bryant. I got here on the first day and met a nice guy with a mouth of gold. He told me it was all going to be ok. He had a big smile and was very friendly. He used the expression of life without a wife. I later found out that the federal government was seeking the death penalty for him. Later this year the new administration pulled back on that request and he only got life in jail for murdering a government informant. Christmas time in jail is a tough time. A year ago though I was still in a prison in Romania.

A little humor sent to me by a Romanian citizen.

Queen Elizabeth, George Bush, and the president of Romania are all in hell. The Queen of England says you know I miss the people of the U.K. and I would like to make a call home. The devil shows her to the phone and she places the call. She talks for five minutes and then asks the devil how much for the call. Five minutes to the U.K. is five million dollars. She gets her check book and pays the devil his due. Then George not wanting to be out done, requests to call the United States. He talks for ten minutes. Then ask to pay his dues also. Its turns out to be ten million dollars. George knowing that the hard working tax payers will foot his bill, pays up. Now the president of Romania does not want to be left out, so he asks also to place a call. He calls Bucharest and talks for nearly an hour. He chats with the Parliament member, he talks with his family, then he chews the fat with his friends. When it comes time to pay the bill they devil asks for one dollar. The president of Romania says but I was on the phone for almost an hour, why was it so cheap for me and expensive to George Bush and Queen Elizabeth? The devil says those were long distance calls.
