After being told by the police in Romania that I could return anytime I want after my extradition. I was told that my problems in Romania were over. Then to double check as I was trying to pursue my medical education. I called my lawyer in Constanta to find out that on the second or third time asking him he found out that I need to serve 4 and half more months in a Romanian prison if I want to return. However I can ask the president of Romania to grant me a pardon. I asked him if that was possible. He said that it would be more possible if the U.S. Embassy in Romania wrote a letter asking him to do so then it would be more likely. What are the chances that the US Embassy would make that request? I think not so good. So I am on the look out for new medical school. I have found a couple. First there is a medical school in Freiburg Germany. A wonderful little city in the Black Forest area of Germany. It has one of the oldest Universities in all of Europe. I have been learning German as fast as possible. Then there is another medical school in Serbia. Its not so expensive. Then my mom says you DON'T want to go to Serbia..She has her reasons. Then she asked about Canada, Granada, Mexico, and then she hit on Costa Rica...So I called them this morning. Turns out about 3500/Year...Plus living expenses. Turns out that is affordable.. They also said that I can start in May..
So I will be posting in the near future here a google checkout for people that feel like making a contribution to my medical education. Does that sound like something that might work to get me through medical school?
Well see won't we. I will keep you posted.
Peace,
Ken
