Path Dependence, the road to recovery

As it turns out, there is a little self deception going on. As Dr. O'Connell will be happy to tell you we as humans could lead to our own demise. He came about this conclusion with his cannabis applicant interviews. It goes like this with the best of intentions congress passed the CSA (Controlled Substances Act) their intentions were to "protect" the youth from what they perceived as harmful drugs. Before the 1950's all through out the United States of America there was virtually no cannabis available and no-one smoke it or used other than to make rope.

Name Calling and Mistreatment

People justify their mistreatment of others by calling them names and with labels, Spick, Nigger, Fag, WOP, Dago, Gook, Kike, Honkie, all of these short words have been used by fascists as an excuse to mistreat and abuse populations as a whole..

Quote from Tom O'Connell.

Red White and Blue States..

Red is an interesting color from a political perspective. Red is the color of communism. It is also the color that represents most of the southern States with the "conservative" ideology. It it is the color of the republicans. Isn't it interesting that the same color represents communism, the republicans and the idea of free labor. Free labor in the sense that they pay nothing for the labor of the people. The southern States were fighting for "sovereignty" and the whole slave issue was just an end game used by Lincoln to tip the balance in power.

Schools, Prisons, And The Military

Two days ago, we were sitting around the table talking about Maddies four days off from school. Maddies is my daughter that can be seen in the photo with me drinking some morning coffee in Amsterdam. My father asked about why she had so much time off from school. As it turns out tomorrow is presidents day. We honor the president and his past predecessor with a day off from work and school.

Active ingredient in cannabis may promote the generation of new neurons in the brain.

"The recent discovery that the hippocampus is able to generate new neurons throughout a human's lifespan has changed the way we think about the mechanisms of psychiatric disorders and drug addiction," says Wen Jian and colleagues in a study published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation in 2005.

Why I think Drugs should remain illegal

I came across this article recently and it affirms my feelings.

This is why drugs should remain illegal..So probation officers can get laid..

In Anchorage, Alaska, a state probation officer was arrested January 19 on charges he certified a female probationer's dirty drug test as clean in return for sexual favors and money. James Stanton, 53, was arrested in the Nesbett Courthouse, where he worked. Stanton faces bribery and official misconduct charges. At last report, Stanton was jailed on $10,000 bail.

Arnold Governator wants to outsource the prisons to Mexico

This week with the bulging deficit spending that California is engaged in, the governator has made signs that it might be a good idea to send the prisoners in California to Mexico as a way of saving money. I have a great idea, why don't we just return California to Mexico. The Anglos have already milked the gold from the hills and squeezed the life out of this place. Might as well hand it over to Mexico. They seem to be able to do things better and cheaper anyway.

Monsoon Season In Cambodia

Its January and "the winter time here" but in Cambodia the dry season has just begun. The days are getting warm and hot. The rain has stopped and the "high" season has begun for the tourist to flock there. They come by the boat, bus, and plane full. They seek the sun, the beach, cheap food and beer, and most of all they cum for the fun. Many are in quest of young women that have been sold into slavery by their parents. Not all but many parents raise their young daughters to be virgins so that they might get the highest price for her possible. Its truly sad.
